At the Balenciaga store in Elements last night, the brand held a small fashion show and party for the launch of their new fall/winter 2012 collection, a mix of fashionable work appropriate clothing and colorful, contrasting garments. In the midst of the all the necessary dark fabrics, the collection also had bright, bold blues and oranges in the mix. A small fashion show showcased their dresses and feature pieces for this season. It was nice to see Cara G. in the showcase, a model that I fortunately got to work with for a previous event. As usual, I loved all of their bags and wanted to take a few of them home with me.
