So i’ve been MIA ever since coming back from NYFW. haha i needed literally weeks to take it all in. I apologize! But i am back with behind the scenes photos taken by the most amazing female photographer in town, Carmen Chan! If you have my facebook, weibo, twitter or tumblr you will have seen my involvement in the Marcelo x Lane Crawford project. Hands down the most exciting/ fashionable project i’ve done to date. Thanks Stinger for the invite and gorgeous styling!
I’ve been keeping busy with styling projects, going to events and spending time meeting new people. Reconnecting with my friends and family. Just goodness all around.
On a more personal note. I’ve lost weight, found a new scent for my room, got an amazing egyptian cotton robe by Abyss, got a new Casio exlim camera… been smoking a little more then im used to. Been kind of emotional lately, feelings flying all over the place. It’s all mainly frustration due to the lack of understanding from the people i surround myself with. I’ve also kinda learnt that things are never really mutual and you have to be clear with everything.
Now, all i want to say is…I’ve missed you all. I promise i won’t be MIA anytime soon. =>
As always… drink water, eat fruit and put on sunscreen.

The Atsuro Tayama show was refreshing. Drawn to the beautiful, colorful make up and cute faced models. Lace was all over the collection and am quite inspired by the lace/ stripes combinations and the lace knits. Love Atsuro Tayama for tailoring that is perfectly balanced between classic and innovative. I wore the Atsuro Tayama zipper dress tonight but the flash exploded on the pics and can’t use any of them. Definitely will reshoot it.

Honest to say i have never been to a fashion show/ press presentation as Classy and Elegant as the Anteprima Fall 10 show. The location (The french window @IFC), the people, the setting, the food, the souvenir, the atmosphere really set the mood for the show. It was exciting to see some sheer / sparkly pieces in the collection, i personally really love the white coat(pic above)and the cape Amanda S was wearing down the runway (see pic above). Finally got to meet Melinda and Derek from Ztylistas.com, you guys are so cute! (that’s her in the pic above)
Anteprima is known for their wire handbags, i didn’t know what to expect from their apparel or what the brand is like but for me, this event did a lot for Anteprima. Very Parisian Chic to say the least.
Thanks Angel, Ashley, Erato, Kathleen, Margaret, Tania!
bonne nuit,

Fred Allard, Creative Director on Nine West and 2009 ACE Awards winner. Here is his take on the City, Shoes, Style, Trends and Nine West.
Fred Allard, Creative Director of Nine West @ Ace Award from Cindiddytv on Vimeo.
Born and bred in the South of France, Fred Allard has been groomed for the design world since childhood. Following in his father’s footsteps while making his own mark, Allard attended the revered Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture design school in Paris and started from the ground up with a job at a shoe factory.
Soon after, Allard went on to take the Parisian design scene by storm and joined Stephane Kelian. At age 22, he became the company’s chief designer. Eight years later, Allard switched gears from his niche in the European luxury world to the American market, with his first post at Nine West Group. Allard credits his initial twelve years at the company for teaching him to “think globally.”
In 2005 Allard returned to the European luxury market to become the front man of design at Castaner. Under his leadership and direction, the business grew from shipping 9,000 pairs of shoes in a season to an unprecedented 53,000 pairs. After his successful run at Castaner, Allard came full circle and took on a new role at Nine West Group, where he has been Creative Director since 2006. His most recent accomplishments with the brand include the successful launches of New Balance for Nine West, and Nine West Vintage America Collection.
Attributing his inspirations to everything from couture designs to art and architecture, Fred Allard continues to lend his talent and vision to elevate the branded footwear, handbag and jewelry divisions of Nine West.
