My first time at Christopher Raeburn. The polka dots, the down wedge, the hoods, and the yellow back pack all stood out for me. Im exploring the world of skirts and might i say im loving it!! A section in my closet thats definitely lacking. Walked past Zara a few times and im really excited about the new stuff. Print skirts… silk shirts etc etc. Is it too late to invest in a white leather jacket? Im gonna say no.

It was great to be able to see the clothes up close after its been shown on the runway. You get to look and feel the pieces you thought was spectacular at the show. Sometimes you’ll be pleasantly surprised with all the details you didn’t catch at the show. My favorite was David Koma and Sister by Sibling. Check them out online if you have time.

In Love with Lane Crawford’s Autumn/Winter 2011 campaign. The mood of this campaign beats all other LC campaigns so far. Featuring clothes from Azzedine Alaϊa, Alexander McQueen, Alexander Wang, Ann Demeulemeester, Balenciaga, Carven and more. The main attraction for me is the five supermodels from our homeland Fei Fei Sun, Liu Wen, Ming Xi, Shu Pei, and Xiao Wen Ju. The patriotic side of me feels very proud of our models and want to give big props to Lane Crawford for choosing an all chinese model cast. What would make this ad even More powerful is if the whole crew from make up to styling, photographer and hair was also from our Homeland.
Lane Crawford has always set the standard in the industry but they really out did themselves this time. Amazing job.

Ecstatic about this collaboration. Collaboration? i don’t know… What i do know is i’ve been using the Smurf tote daily. Holding my Macbook, Ipad and Camera, testing it’s endurance and honestly giving it quite a hard time. What better way to introduce some color into your wardrobe for SS then with this very distinctly almost copyrighted “smurf blue.” 韩火火 pulled off a cute Bossini x Smurf tee without sacrificing any sense of his personal style, need i say more?

The Atsuro Tayama show was refreshing. Drawn to the beautiful, colorful make up and cute faced models. Lace was all over the collection and am quite inspired by the lace/ stripes combinations and the lace knits. Love Atsuro Tayama for tailoring that is perfectly balanced between classic and innovative. I wore the Atsuro Tayama zipper dress tonight but the flash exploded on the pics and can’t use any of them. Definitely will reshoot it.

With make up you can either work your way around the product or find a product that works around you. So with me it is pretty much finding products that can be used “brush less.” The Long wear cream shadows in the second pic is a fav at the moment the black pearl 6 especially cause it’s this purplish, greyish, shimmery color perfect for pre spring. The cream shadow is not very pigmented and goes on very thinly, unlike other cream shadows i’ve tried but that said it is very build able.
The Concealer kit is probably my number one product by Bobbi Brown. The convenience of having both the concealer and the powder AND a mirror in one tiny package is a winner. Not to mention the creaminess and the amazing coverage.
Award winning Gel Liners is obviously a staple of Bobbi Brown and a must have for all. great for Beginners who are working on their liner skills. water proof. pigmented. smooth application. Not a brushless product but i use gel liner when i want more of a matte finish.
The Star of this post is of course Bobbi’s New Lip Rich Color with SPF 12. I got heather pink 12 but i’m also looking forward to trying out the pinkish coral color too. This new line just adds to the existing amazing range of lip colors by Bobbi. i also recommend “Caramel” (i dont remember the number) this weirdly orangey beige color that i think is the perfect nude.

It’s not news that Puma have been collaborating with a few of the best designers namely McQueen, Hussein Chalayan etc. . The 2011 SS collection grows from what we saw last season with a new print and new ways of literally Transforming your wardrobe from a backpack into a jacket. Spent the day looking at new pieces from the season and doing multiple interviews along with Dorothy, Judy and Helen. Im not much of a talker and i’m always worried i don’t give them enough to work with. But one thing about talking about what you do is you get better at it and it ultimately helps you realize where you stand and who you are in terms of style and insights.
But hey, you live and you learn right?

This Spring Summer Mademoiselle (the diffusion line of Moiselle) is Revamping and in my opinion going fresher, bolder and sexier. If Moiselle is the romantic parisian then Mademoiselle is the romantic parisian with an edge. Even though they’ve changed it up you can still get sense of Moiselle in this collection i think it’s in the fabric …the chiffon, the silk, the tiers on the cocktail dress, the draping. Nonetheless easy to wear, effortlessly chic. I wish i had photos of the collection to show you.

Dress: Hanalie X Cindiddy leopard print maxi dress
Tuesday was Hanalie’s charity fashion show @ Volar. Premiering their effortless chic Cruise collection which will be available online (Link Here) in January if im correct.
Along with Sabrina Ho ,Josie Ho, Ellie Lam and Claudine. I collaborated with Hanalie to make a dress for the Charity show all proceeds will go to the Hong Kong Cancer Fund. We wore our designs that night so my piece was the leopard maxi dress. I couldn’t find the perfect leopard maxi dress therefore i decided to make one with this opportunity. I don’t know if you can see in the photos but the front of the dress is leopard print and the back is a black jersey material (which makes the dress more casual and more comfortable).
Congrats to Hanalie, Natalie and Haylie, my favorite and most dedicated local designers!!

Wait for part two!!
We all know Swarovski the crystal brand that makes ornaments (yes the cheesy Wedding gifts) BUT Swarovski Crystallized is far from cheesy and make accessories sought after by all stylists/ fashion lovers who you might ask. Well no biggie just patricia fields from sex and the city! The yellow and white bangle was worn by Carrie and Charlotte in the movie(photo above) kakaka. Collaborations with hundreds of designers, to name some…Dannijo, Jean Paul Gaultier, Jason Wu, Kenneth Jay Lane etc etc etc list goes on and on you are bound to find your favorite designer. To do the Fine Jewelry justice i decided to post photos of them from the lookbook so check them out.

Lanvin x H&M, probably the most exciting collaboration of 2010. The hype is insane! The Lookbook was amazing, the videos were fun to watch, the prices, the campaign. 12 days prior to the launch i finally got to meet the collection. I know you’ve all seen photos of it but seeing it in person is just different so in these pictures i tried my best to show you the collection in another angle.
The quality of the fabrics (on some dresses) were a lot better then i had thought. You definitely see the H&M in Lanvin and the Lanvin in H&M. They have one pair of sunglasses in the whole collection and they are MUST HAVES ($199 hkd)! The black body con dress (that i tried on) was unbelievably comfortable, the stretchy material was thick and makes you look skinny! haha Yes the belts on the dresses are attached to the zipper of the dress. As for the Mens collection?… i love the metallic shoes! one in each color please!
I don’t how im going to buy this stuff, no strategy. Im definitely not one who likes to line up…who does right?

It was my first time at the H&M showroom! Thanks Rosita and Cher for showing us around. Though i didn’t feel well and definitely didn’t LOOK well (hay fever) i had a great time looking at the new collection. The semi grease inspired rack was exciting i lovveeeee the coral and did you see those Chunky Gold Heels? refreshing.
The Beige Lace top and shorts caught my eyes right away. Big pockets were a hit for me on both jackets and tops. Leather laced clothing was done tastefully and i cannot wait to get my hands on those shorts with leather detailing.
I especially LOVE the cage Lingerie and is personally a MUST HAVE.
The Mens line was awfully breathe taking also, the shirts looked very promising.
I apologize for the lack of photos, i guess we were both overwhelmed with the beautifully arranged, not messy, unusually roomy H&M showroom. The ice teas and grapefruit/ lemon juices didn’t help us either haha for a moment there i had to remind myself that this was H&M. Next week we will be invading the showroom again for Lanvin x H&M (just to look not buy) and this time we will be prepared to show you EVERYTHING.

Honest to say i have never been to a fashion show/ press presentation as Classy and Elegant as the Anteprima Fall 10 show. The location (The french window @IFC), the people, the setting, the food, the souvenir, the atmosphere really set the mood for the show. It was exciting to see some sheer / sparkly pieces in the collection, i personally really love the white coat(pic above)and the cape Amanda S was wearing down the runway (see pic above). Finally got to meet Melinda and Derek from Ztylistas.com, you guys are so cute! (that’s her in the pic above)
Anteprima is known for their wire handbags, i didn’t know what to expect from their apparel or what the brand is like but for me, this event did a lot for Anteprima. Very Parisian Chic to say the least.

Great weather on tuesday, was so nervous/ excited to meet Nine West Creative director Fred Allard and Taj from BNC who invited me. The Fall collection was very alluring and having Fred himself talk me through the collection, i was sold and sold. My Beloved Bf is still trying to put the pics and video together so i’ll say no more and let you see for yourself.
Did you know? Fred Allard’s father is the Genius behind those Robert Clergerie shoes i was wearing. what a coincidence .

NIKE AIR MAXIM 1+
THANKS Angel from Nike China for giving me a pair of sneakers that i can truly say i’d wear and Love! To be honest i don’t own more then 3 pairs of sneakers (including those that aren’t wearable) and if you see me wearing sneakers they are usually my boyfriends or they’re probably like old beat up sneakers from 1990’s.
When i go to the gym i feel so relaxed, no make up, black leggings and a tee. It’s a time where i can be all sweaty and look like a mess after all who is there to see you right? well i didn’t think much of it till i wore these to the gym suddenly everyone noticed me. haha my family! my parents! other trainers! My mom wanted a pair immediately, my trainer noticed them and literally said “wah, so nice”
Well duh! they’re shocking pink.
I don’t know how to explain what a good pair of sneakers is but in my own words… i’d say… “full coverage” like a bra. They hug my feet. Light. There is this ipod thing in the sole that connects to your ipod but i don’t know how it works.
I was never a Nike person… well to be fair a sneakers person but Nike have been making some interesting collaborations that catches our attention. Like the Nike Air Royalty Macaroons (Below) Sold in Colette paris April 1st and safe to say, they probably sold out by now.

Few things i want to get from ZARA are
(1) these denim pants. im not sure what material its made of and as with all things Zara or H&M it’s always safer to try it and have look in person before buying it. I’ve had my fair share of disappointments.
(2) I really love this look, the collar and the romper. Not for me but i’d love to see someone wear this. so cute.
(3) Crocodile hunter? Im always attracted to these colors but it never turns out to look the way i wish it would.
The black booties are cute. I’m thinking Comfy, bulky knit sweater, a fat clutch! niceeee!!
