As rewarding as traveling can be, packing and going through customs is a huge hassle. My travel advice is to pack light and practical, but just because you need to be comfortable doesn’t mean you can’t be stylish too. Dresses and shorts are a comfy compromise. Flats are also a must, but a fancy pair of shoes never hurts (you never know!). Keep the sunglasses on for those sleepless flights, and take time to unwind when you get to your hotel. I just found these Philips Shoqbox bluetooth speakers– they’re waterproof and can be attached to any bag or luggage, so you can share your music tastes with whatever country you happen to be in.

From top left to right:
Haute Hippie drop waist motif hem dress [US$375], Charlotte Olympia Love Dolly twill and calf hair pumps [US$902], Philips Shoqbox [US$180], RAG & BONE JEAN The Pocket Tee slub-jersey T-shirt [US$111], Emma Cook Printed silk crepe de chine shorts [US$275], Rebecca Minkoff Alvin Smoking Shoes [US$195], Tibi Leather-trimmed silk blouse [US$249], Butter London nail lacquer in Blowing Raspberries and Jaffa [US$14], Elizabeth and James Fairfax Sunglasses [US$185.00], Clu Washed silk-blend shorts [US$190]
Do you have any travel plans in the near future?
